Standard Trading Conditions for Customs Brokerage, Multimodal Freight, and Agency Representation.
All operations undertaken by Jyoti Customs Broker Services Pvt. Ltd. (Licence No. 11/2424) are subject to the Customs Act, 1962, the Customs Brokers Licensing Regulations (CBLR), and the standard trading conditions prescribed by the Federation of Freight Forwarders’ Associations in India (FFFAI) and Brihanmumbai Custom Brokers Association (BCBA).
The importer/exporter guarantees that all descriptions, values, weights, HSN codes, and supporting documents provided to us are true, complete, and accurate. The customer shall indemnify the broker against any claims, fines, or penalties arising from incorrect declarations.
Customs duty, IGST, anti-dumping duties, port charges, shipping line demurrage, and container detention remain the sole liability of the importer/exporter. Advance funds must be disbursed for statutory government payments prior to duty challan generation.
Any legal proceedings or disputes relating to transactions with Jyoti Customs Broker Services Pvt. Ltd. shall be governed by Indian law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
